The goods arrived the day after ordering. After signing the acceptance for the Post Office Carrier, we saw that there was a warning that we should not have signed without inspecting the goods. This would have been difficult to do outside in the drive
Within the house, we opened the package and all appeared to be well. We were delighted with the appearance. There then followed some days of rainy and windy weather. Eventually , when it was possible we started to install the awning, only to find that the main fixing bolts were not as illustrated in the fixing instructions, and the nut on the end of the bolt fell into the interwall cavity during the attempt to fix it.
We went to a builders merchant and bought 4 of the correct type of bolt and installed the awning.
Once levelled the awning looked good and works well. It does not seem to retract completely into the cassette, but maybe it is not meant to.
I think that had we known the actual extent of the drop from front to back, we would have fixed it higher on the wall. Written Information as to the drop on the 2.5 projection would be a useful addition to the fixing instructions.s space to let us get a better looking result"

"Awning appears to be well made and was easy to erect. However, the fixing bolts are not good quality. Design limited by only being able to have the winding mechanism on the left hand side. This does not suit our installation and it would be better if the winding mechanism position was changeable to either side."
"The unit was relatively easy to install. I think a few pictures would help. The level adjustment was at its limit and I had to fit a small shim to get the necessary adjustment. The adjustment bolt could be 3mm longer. When shut there is a 1cm difference in the protrusion of the closed edge, not serious but an irritation."
