V-Line Cassette Wireless Electric Awning

Introducing our new state of the art V-Line cassette awnings. Our V-Line cassette awnings are heavy duty awnings, ideal for both residential and commercial use, including shops, restaurants and pubs. They combine contemporary design with superior quality and great value for money. Finished to a very high specification, they have a strong powder coated silver aluminium frame with retractable arms containing coated steel cables, enabling them to ensure greater stability in adverse weather conditions.

Our new wireless electric awnings have been designed to make life as easy as possible for the DIY installer. Now there is no need for a remote receiver box with all the additional wiring involved, it's as easy as plugging in a kettle!! Just install the awning on the wall in the usual way, run the supplied cable to a convenient socket (it needs to be either weatherproof or indoors), fit the appropriate plug and switch on! It just couldn't be easier to take advantage of the benefits of a fully remote controlled electric awning.

The awning can also be opened and closed easily and smoothly using the winding handle on the left hand side (see pictures to the right). It can be opened as much or as little as you like up to the maximum projection. The awning is adjustable to enable you to alter the slope of the awning from almost 15 degrees to a relatively steep tilt of approximately 30 degrees from the horizontal. The awning arms retract into the metal cassette to protect the fabric and arms.

Note: To allow easy access to the wall brackets during installation, the back of the awning is open. Once installed this is not visible as it will be enclosed by the supporting wall.

The awning cover is 300gsm polyester. It is waterproof, rot-proof, PU and UV stabilised and easy to sponge clean.

UV Protection

We test our fabrics using the leading testing agency Intertek to establish the level of UV protection afforded by the various colours. All fabrics tested (from the lightest ivory, to the darkest) had a Rated UPF of 50+, meaning a maximum of 2% of UV rays will pass through the fabric.

Installation

Our awnings are designed to attach to the wall and are supplied with two or three brackets (depending on the size of the awning you order) and expandable fixing bolts. The awnings are easy to fit and come with full fitting instructions. With the correct tools they should not take more than two hours to fit. Which control do I need?

The basic awning price shown above is for an awning with wireless control built into the motor and one remote control zapper. We also offer a wind, sun sensor option.

• Awning wind, sun and rain sensor remote control kit includes: A receiver box and two remote controls plus the wind, sun and rain sensor.
