"Heater works ok once assembled. However the parts are not well made as there are 4 screws used to secure each of 3 tube sections together. On my heater the holes for the screws on the outer tube could not be aligned with the threaded holes of the inner as yhe tube was too long. It required 2mm to havksaw off the end of the tube. After doing this it went together well and heated acreasonable area of my deck."

Especially with all the good reviews I was excited about my first BBQ. After trying this out on a fairly still spring evening I am now able to say what a mistaka to maka. If you want to use this outdoors then make sure you have enough to provide each person with two of them...minimum! I have now bought a gas patio heater that starts everytime and heats the surrounding area. This electric one now stands on the corner of my shed ready to warm the shed in winter when I need to escape my children and sit alone for a few minutes."

"I am going to remove the power cable and replace with shielded cable, for health reasons. I do wish this knowledge of health would go mainstream so that every manufacturer would use shielded cabling for every single product on the market. Maybe someday... You will find the knowledge under the subject of 'earthing'; how elevated 'body voltage' which you can measure easily with an ordinary volt meter - AC setting - damages the health, causing or exacerbating arthritis, dementia etc. - and the solution is very simple: shielding yourself with shielded wiring including appliances and wall wiring."

"The heater functions well but the packaging does not protect it sufficiently in transit. The first one had an extremely bent base with scratches. PRIMROSE HAVE BEEN EXCELLENT IN DEALING WITH THIS. The replacement also has a slightly damaged base but so little that I cannot deal with any more back and forth. Two of the screw holes on the stand were not correctly positioned so putting it together was tiresome. It is also slightly wobbly. The courier on the first delivery didn't bother to wait after ringing the bell. I saw the van arrive for the replacement delivery so opened the door in anticipation. If you could have heard and seen the banging and throwing around of parcels as he searched for my items, it is small wonder items are damaged."

"I ordered two for our special birthday BBQ the weekend of 4th June 2011. We also had a large awning put up and thought that these would be better than a gas guzzler. The evening became quite chilly due to a fairly strong wind. We put a side on the waning, turned on the heaters and we sat down at the tables feeling a lot warmer. They are a good product for the price. I wanted them to enable us to put them on inside the awning. I have also used them in our conservatory just when it gets a bit chilly.
