"The awning works well and is easy to adjust for height and level. The instructions did not seem to say where the brackets should be fitted - presumably at each end. This was not possible because of the position of windows, so brackets were fitted about 18" in from each end. Doing this introduces a twisting action on the main rectangular support, but so far so good. It seems to withstand the strain (see photo)."
